I have decided that reaching out to others is more then just doing and saying nice things and therefore I would like to pull from within myself some of the things I have experienced in my own personal life. One of those things was two very abusive marriages, physically. mentally and emotionally abusive.

The other thing that I have experienced is child abuse.  I have seen it with my own eyes in a few different families along my way in life.

Most abused women and nearly all abused children back when I grew up kept quiet as there weren't the options that are out there today and you were taught to keep your mouth shut about what went on at home. Thus the name for these pages  "Silent Tears".

Remember--although there are more avenues out there for abused women and children to turn to today--many still don't because of fear of repercussion or pride or whatever. Many still cry "Silent Tears" when the lights go out.
