Dear Readers,
Any of you that know me know
that I am a great animal lover and fight for their rights to be treated
with love and respect. I have a deep love of nature and what it is made
up of.
But there is more to me then
that .....
I am not a perfect person
and I fall short in many ways. All I can say about that is I try my best
to live each day as if it were my last day on earth.
I try hard to treat others
as I myself wish to be treated. I try never to judge others for any reason.
I believe if you do not walk in someone else's shoes you have no right
to judge or condemn. I never just assume anything about anyone.
Also if you know me at all
you know that I stand behind the view that everyone on earth has the right
to their own choices in life.
I do not believe anyone should
be discriminated against for colour - creed -- sexual preferances or choice
of religion. To my eyes there is no colour difference in anyone and it
is not what a person looks like or what religion they believe in is what
attracts me to them.
What attracts me to others
is what their heart is like and how they treat me personally. I am attracted
by their personality and the kindness I see them treat others with.
We are all equal and we all
have the right to make whatever choices we choose that make our lives the
best they can be for us - as long as we do not use those choices to hurt
anyone else.
Who cares what colour someone
is or what religion they are as long as they are a good person ? Who cares
what preferances they have in their private lives ? Who's business is it
to judge or condemn anyone because they are different then you are in some
way ?
I believe no one has the
right to judge anyone else for any reason. You have the right to be friends
with whomever you wish for whatever reasons you yourself have as long as
the reasons you have are honest and from the heart.
I have spent a great part
of my 51 years on this earth taking care of people who are different then
I am and I have learned so much from them.
I have learned a lot about
reality from my own experiences in life as well. I am very much a realist
and I do not think that reality is in judging or condemning others.
If you must judge then look
in the mirror and judge yourself and your own shortcomings. It might make
you a better person in the long run.
You might find some things
about yourself that you could change to improve. Usually those who judge
others are really not very sure of their own worth. How can you value yourself
if you do not value others rights to their own freedom of choice.
In closing I say that you
should judge only yourself and mind only your own business and you may
find that you will become a more decent human being.
You may even become someone
that others will like.
Until Next Time ...
