Dear Readers,

Christmas is upon us once again. The year has nearly come to an end and the time seems to have sped by for me.

I could wish you all a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays and I could write a lot of words that you find on pretty Christmas cards. I guess I could tell you all to be happy and laughing and gay.  However, first for now I want to talk to you from my heart.

In light of all that has happened this past year, especially Sept. 11, 200, I want to leave the words Merry Christmas alone for a few minutes.

Instead I want to ask you to search deep within your heart and find that extra bit of love that you keep tied up in a box and hidden somewhere in the recesses there.  I ask you to dig deep into your soul and walk along the paths of your memories and then look into the future ahead.

Remember how when we were children we had such dreams? Remember how we dreamed of a life of peace and unity? What happened?

I will tell you what I think happened.  I think as the world grew people became greedy and wanted so much power that it got out of hand without anyone realizing it and realizing the sadness it would create.

How sad that people have become so caught up in themselves and whatever power they think they have that they have forgotten what unity and love for their fellow human being is. How sad that people have become so selfish that they only think of what they have and what they can have next. How commercialized everyone and everything has become. The sadness in all of this is insurmountable. It is so huge that it reaches beyond the limits of the sky.

Everyday I hear or see such foolish greed and selfishness in the world. My heart breaks at the mention of the word "homeless" -- my eyes fill with tears when I see a child doing without.

Since I founded this group I have seen and heard of many little miracles amongst you all. The true meaning of Christmas all year round has shone through the last couple of years for me thanks to all of you.

I have learned something about the people of "Misker's Den-izens" -- I have seen so much heart and friendship in this group "My Group" *I am so proud*  --

I have some thank-you's to some of the people that have made Christmas so wonderful for me all year round.

Thank you from my heart to Donna, our Vice President/Co-Founder of "Misker's Den-izens". You taught me so much about beginning this group. You are always there to teach me PSP and other things I need to know.  Offline you are always there to wipe my tears or add to my laughter over things in my personal life. You are the best ! I love you with all of my heart my dear sweet sister.

To my special Assistant SueCat thank you from my heart for everything you do to help make this Den-izen group run so smoothly.  SueCat you especially deserve a very special thank you from both Donna and myself for all you do. You keep me organized and up to date on things and lend a hand no matter how busy you are. You always have time for me and for what this group needs.

On a personal note Sue, you have become a dear friend and a sister of my heart as well. We share so many things that make us giggle and that no one else would understand. I love you Ms Kitty :)

Curious you are my spiritual advisor and I thank you from my heart for your love and guidance. You have become a sister of my heart and I love you. Your love and kindness has meant so much to me and my family here in this house.

To as very special lady Tigress, I thank you for loving me like your own daughter and for being there always when I need Motherly advice and a Mother's love. Since you have adopted me my life is so much richer in love and understanding. Hearing your sweet voice on the other end of my phoneline turns my day into sunshine. I love you so much!

Thank you to all of you who have sent cards and graphic pressies to each other and to the entire group. Thank you to all of you that have sent little presents through the mail to each other. Thank you for everything you do through the year to help others in this group and out of it. Thank you  to everyone who has taken the time to send a cheery note or card to a disabled member or a senior member. Thank you to those of you who have written me throughout the year to ask if there is someone in need that you can help.

Thanks to everyone who participated in  "Misker's Den-izen Adopt A Child For Christmas" -- there are children who will smile this Christmas and mothers that will have a tear in their eye on Christmas morning as they watch their sweet children open your gifts that you so unselfishly sent. Thanks to everyone who also added a little something in their gifts for the mothers of these children. Thank you to everyone who sent cash to these children and the mothers so that they to will have a Christmas dinner. This was above and beyond the call of what I asked in this program. To know you went that extra mile means so much to me and to the recipients. I have personally heard from many of the mothers whose children were adopted and they are so grateful and thankful.

I take off my hat to "Misker's Den-izens"  "The Group With Heart"

Now I say to all of you "Merry Christmas" from the bottom of my heart for you have made my Christmas so special by being the people you are and for having the love in your heart to help others in need this year.

God Bless everyone of you.

until next time....
love and hugs
Misker
