Tomorrow Never Comes
If tomorrow never comes
Did I say all I had to say?
Would they know I love them
Should I pass away?
My children do they know
Somewhere between the discipline
My heart ached to hold them
close.
My husband will he remember
The years we passed together.
The smile across the table
The twinkle in my eyes
The love that we shared
Will it last a lifetime?
Did I hold them close enough?
Did my heart let it show
The never ending love I have
For each of them, I need
to know.
If my tomorrow never comes
What will they say
Will they know I love each
of them
For their own special ways
